Vale of Pnath
Vale of Pnath
Vale Of Pnath (pronounced "Noth") is a five-piece Melodic Technical Death Metal band, formed in Denver, CO in 2006. The band focuses on playing technical music that is catchy and melodic at very fast tempos. "Vale Of Pnath II" is the highly anticipated follow-up to 2011's "The Prodigal Empire," and will be released on June 10, 2016 via Willowtip Records.
With a heavy sound rooted in death metal, Seren unleashes a crushing sonic onslaught featuring complex polyrhythms, demon-esque vocals, pounding drums, and aggressive, groovy riffs. The band names influences such as Meshuggah, Gojira, Dysrhythmia, Nevermore, Opeth, Between the Buried and Me, and Enslaved.

Born in different parts of the country, brewed in the depths of the Back Bay of Boston, Massachusetts, Seren was first formed in June 2011 as a collaboration project between drummer Mike Scott and guitarist Steve Logé. They had been roommates since 2010 and writing music, but only had only the duo until April 2012. The first Seren lineup was completed with the addition of Phil Gabrielson (Bass) and Matt Martinez (Guitars). To celebrate, they recorded a live studio performance for a Berklee MP&E class in the school studios.

Seren’s first E.P. (self-titled) was electronically released on June 1, 2012 and had quickly spread amongst the ears of the New England extreme metal scene. Seren played about 10 kick-ass shows in the state they were formed in (including an exciting 4 day mini tour that stretched up to New Hampshire) before relocating to Denver, CO in the Fall of 2013.

Seren 2.0 was formed in Denver, CO with the addition of Danny Mingus on Guitar, Andrew Kim on Bass, and Dylan Nobles on Vocals. Seren's debut album was funded by fans and friends on Kickstarter, and is the final result of four years of creative onslaught. The debut Album, "Eye of Malignace" was released July 4th, 2014, and is available on Spotify, Itunes, Google Play and more for purchase and Bandcamp for streaming.

Since the release of "Eye of Malignance", we have released a single called, "Not Yet" September 12, 2015 which showcases the new line-up.

We are almost done tracking our 2nd full-length album, titled, "Ashen". The sound is a departure from EoM's barrage of complexity and aggression, feeling like more of an atmospheric trance of brutality and heavy emotion. We have been playing it live for Denver fans and venues as of late 2016, and hope to release the album early 2017 \M/ \M/
Vow of Volition
Vow of Volition formed in 2015 by lead guitarist Peter Nye and rhythm guitarist Tyler Walton, later picking up Nick Van Dusan on drums, Daniel Zaragoza on bass, and Julien Johnsohn for vocals.

Creating what others called, "Progressive Metal", was merely the result of the groups efforts to keep up with the many other talented locals setting out to make the same dream happen, they set out to combine their hours of practice and self engineering to make music that truly sets itself apart from the rest.
While not on stage, their focus is in the home studio. Constantly working to put out fully self produced content. They’re primarily known as an instrumental band but regularly work with vocalists and other musicians in an open environment of collaboration and experimentation. Heavy, hard-hitting 8 strings, intricate and melodic leads, Vow of Volition look to make music that blends the connection between complex and relatable sounds. Ascribing to multiple genres, VoV pulls from all corners of the musical spectrum to form their unique sound which brings the listener in and keeps them interested in the uncertainty of what comes next. This balance is what they sought out to achieve in their debut EP “Anthelion”.
