TRVE Brewing Three Year Anniversary Bacchanal

Our goal is to give you a rad place to hang out and drink killer beer. Founded on the Summer Solstice of 2011, our mission has always been to create beers that are beyond the pale. To us this implies new ideas, channeling Loki, and embracing chaos. It means drawing from the sounds and sights that inspire us most in life. Our beers may or may not exactly adhere to any particular guidelines – we’re style blasphemers and category agnostics – but you can count on the fact that we’ll always brew damn good beer. To us, TRVE represents being a part of a counter culture without immersing yourself to the point of taking it too seriously.

Power Trip
Power TripDrawing from the sacred texts of the Cro-Mags, Vio-lence, Leeway, Exodus, and Nuclear Assault, Texas savage Power Tri have unleashed their debut album with Southern Lord. The leave in their wake a multitude of crushed generic and feeble contemporaries. Power Trip don’t emulate, they properly channel the old- school energy of the old cross-over gods and add their own brand of modern thrash warfare. ”Manifest Decimation” was recorded/ produced by Arthur Rizk (War Hungry, Mother of Mercy, Inquisition). The recording is absolutely face-peeling and will ensure maximum head-banging from the hordes.

BONGRIPPERMiserable Chicago Doom

In The Company Of Serpents

Call Of The Void
Call Of The VoidRarely does a debut record come bursting out of the gates this ferociously angry and, frankly, awesome. Stirring up a pissed off mix of Napalm Death and His Hero Is Gone, Colorado’s CALL OF THE VOID pound out a furious ten song grand f*ing slam of a record. ‘Dragged Down A Dead End Path’ truly lives up to its name, because this is a record that beats listeners into submission. Blending hardcore, sludge, powerviolence, crust and grind, CALL OF THE VOID are legit rising stars in hardcore and metal. ‘Dragged Down A Dead End Path’s crust and grind elements seamlessly merge to conjure visions of grind godfathers Pig Destroyer while effortlessly treading the abrasive caustic nature of Converge’s hybrid progressive hardcore and Mastodon’s technical metal-tinged rock mastery

Slow, loud, heavy -- this is Khemmis, a four piece "doomed rock 'n roll" outfit from Denver, Colorado. In the face of myriad "retro" and "throwback" styles favored by many, Khemmis combines the soul of Black Sabbath and the soaring harmonies of Thin Lizzy and Iron Maiden with the raw, visceral heaviness of contemporary sludge and doom metal.

No regurgitation. No gimmicks. No trends.

in July of 2015, Olympia, WA-based 20 Buck Spin released Absolution, a six track, forty-minute journey through transcendent melodies and pure auditory annihilation. The album has garnered accolades from critics and fans alike, including praise from Decibel, Terrorizer, Noisey, MetalSucks, Invisible Oranges, and more. In August of 2015, Khemmis embarked on a West Coast tour, which included a series of dates with The Atlas Moth and Vattnet Viskar. While the band will continue to be on the road in the coming months, they have already made plans to record their next album with Dave Otero (Cobalt, Cattle Decapitation) next summer.

Yet one can’t help but be moved – emotionally, spiritually, whatever you want to call it – by the sheer power Khemmis has harnessed on what is easily my favorite doom record of 2015." - Invisible Oranges
"Denver quartet Khemmis' new album is really interesting. It's an unexpected and near-perfect blend of sludgy stoner rock, traditional doom, heavy metal, and 70s hard rock, one that nods to Pallbearer as often as it bows to Thin Lizzy." - Noisey

"This is one polished humdinger of a debut and it’s traveling like a bullet up my Records o’ the Year list. " - Angry Metal Guy

"Taking a page from the many tomes of doom metal, Khemmis seamlessly splice the solid backbeat and accessibility of NWOBHM bands such as Iron Maiden, the sorrowful melodies of breakout doom contemporaries Pallbearer and the fuzzed-out, almighty riffs of YOB, creating a potent strain of sludgy doom that’s wholly pure and is near-perfectly represented on Absolution." - Heavy Blog is Heavy

Stoic Dissention
Stoic DissentionWhen hell freezes over and the heavens collapse the soundtrack will be Stoic Dissention. Combining Black Metal, Doom, Post and a little grind to bring about an audio assault that eats away at the foundation of the psyche.
