Tour De Force: Raashan Ahmad
Raashan Ahmad is an MC with a thriving career as a solo artist and front man for the live hip-hop group Mission/Crown City Rockers. He has garnered critical acclaim from worldwide press such as XXL “Chairman’s Choice”, San Francisco Weekly, and San Francisco Guardian “Best of the Bay”, Top 10 on CMJ, and URB’s prestigious “Next 100” list. Raashan has had music featured in Movies, Video Games and multiple shows on MTV and VH1.

Raashan’s albums The Push and the groundbreaking For What You’ve Lost garnered worldwide attention and earned him the devoted admiration of fans as he has toured feverishly throughout North America, Europe, Japan, Australia, and Brazil. Raashan Ahmad is known for his intimate performance style where he bares all and let’s the audience in on a journey into hip hop, soul, and universal truths that transgress language, culture, and nationality. International tastemaker Gilles Peterson proclaimed For What You’ve Lost’s “Pain on Black” as one of his top ten songs of the year in 2010 and invited Raashan to perform at his World Wide Awards 2011 in London. Add to that a performance on Live Radio Nova’s Nuit Zébrée and an interview and spotlight on France 24 that reached over 20 million viewers—it is clear that Raashan Ahmad has hit his stride.

Raashan has collaborated with the some of music’s brightest and most respected artists including Chali 2na of Jurassic 5, Gift of Gab of Blackalicious, Aloe Blacc (Stones Throw), Greg Errico of Sly and the Family Stone and so many more. Currently working on his next album, expect more genre defying collaborations and another world tour.

Coolzey was borne out of the cornfields of central Iowa. A boy who for some unexplained reason grew up only being able to listen to roughneck east coast hip hop and Weird Al Yankovic began looping tapes and rhyming into boomboxes. After that there was Pavement, the Wu Tang Clan, mushrooms, sex, and America. This is the rezult.

3Two3Two is a local emcee born in Denver and raised in Littleton, CO. Spending most of his early years singing, it wasn't until his sophomore yea in high school that he with the help of his friend Jared Van Doorn, delved into the realm of hip-hop music. From then on, 3Two (Christopher Bennett) stayed in the background honing his craft both lyrically and production-wise until he fealt his skills were honed enough to begin to bring them to the people. 3Two has spent those years creating a unique style which combines witty, somewhat cocky, yet undeniably gripping lyricism laced with social commentary, and combined them with passionate, catchy beats. With topics ranging from social and political issues, to rocking parties, to his favorite comic book characters, and even rollerskating, qnd beats ranging from organic, to electronic and many zones in between, 3Two has something for just about anybody. 3Two is just another member of the worldwide movement to unify hip-hop and show the world at large that good hip-hop DOES exist, and it DOES live everywhere...ESPECIALLY in Denver.

Tyler Kreigler works a day job as a super hero in the city of Cubicle Hell. Armed with a degree in Philosophy he spends his day doing absolutely nothing related to his field of study.  However, by night (and some evenings) he becomes An Hobbes- emcee extraordinaire, cosmonaut, philosopher and all around nerdy everyman who makes love to your ears with his quick lipped rhymes.
Hobbes cracked the music matrix  over 10 years ago as part of the Lincoln, NE  group The Awkwords with fellow emcee Toad the Newsense, DJ Trinidad and Andrew Eckerson.  With The Awkwords, Hobbes was fortunate enough  to perform with artists such as Del the Funky Homosapien, Aceyalone, Josh Martines, Awol One, 2Mex, MC Frontalot, Eyedea and Abilities, Blueprint and more.  Hobbes has also toured with Vast Aire of Cannibal Ox and Sadistik, both inside and outside of the United States.  In 2007 The Awkwords released their debut album "Left Speaker... Right Speaker...".  The Awkwords are happy to announce their follow up album "Colorful Language" will be released fall of 2012.
Somewhere along the way Hobbes met the love of his life, his wife, Anastasia.  They enjoy spending their time reenacting scenes from the book, "50 Shades of Grey", because after one child they prefer her eggs to be scrambled and not fertilized.  Their daughter, Nova Rhyme, is being raised as a geek prodigy.  She can already identify more comic book characters, rappers and constellations at the tender age of two than the average seven year old
Hobbes moved from Lincoln, NE to Denver, CO in April of 2011 to level up his powers in the city of Cubicle Hell and to expand his music career.  "Diaries of a Space Cadet" is his first solo release which chronicles the adventures and romance of an Earthing who unexpectedly finds himself in the far reaches of space and, by no real action of his own, becomes captain of a space vessel.  The album features production by K. Murdock, Count Bass D, Sassoon, Whatshisface, Sam Morris, Merchant of Death, and Andrew Eckerson.  Guest emcees include Toad the Newsense (of the Awkwords), Barlow, and Robin Samples.
Hobbes has toured a large portion of the United States, as well as parts of Canada and France. This year Hobbes will be featured at the 20th annual DEFCON in Las Vegas, NV.
